Who is The Tribe?

Volunteering at Children’s Home Society

In South Florida there are no other organizations like The Tribe.  We train the highly involved and engage the less connected.  Simultaneously we build local leadership while opening the door to deepening Jewish connections.  Using traditional models of grassroots engagement, we tailor our approach to meet the needs of each individual within our unique, local culture.

The Tribe offers a way for a new generation to be a part of an age old conversation about what it means to be Jewish. Its about being action oriented when it comes to Judaism. We Celebrate. We Repair. We Network. We Lead.

Our mission is to cultivate a supportive, stimulating and inclusive environment for South Florida’s diverse young Jewish people, empowering them with the skills to become leaders and take positive action in support of our community and beyond.

While we do offer some amazing and innovative programs, we emphasize leadership as the cornerstone for building community.  We represent the professional, religious and ethnic diversity that exists here in South Florida.  The Tribe fills the void for Jewish community and leadership for the young jewish professionals in Greater Miami, creating opportunities for connection, education, tikkun olam, spiritual deepening, and, of course, celebration!
